Taliban and Afghan leaders agree on meeting in Russia.
KABUL: Taliban and Afghan leaders took part in Russia’s participation in peace talks
According to the International News Agency, peace talks will be held tomorrow in Moscow tomorrow, including Afghan Taliban and former Afghan President Hamid Karzai.
The parties have expressed their willingness to attend the 2-day Peace Dialogue.
Recognizing the absence of the Kabul government’s representation in the Afghan peace talks, Kabul government has not been invited in recent talks.
Afghan President Ashraf Ghani criticized the peace talks in Moscow, saying that the Taliban are interrogating Afghanistan with real representatives and giving evidence of non-democratic forces.
President Ghani said further that the Afghan people will not accept any peace talks that their real representatives are not participating. Former President Hamid Karzai should not participate in negotiations without the participation of the Kabul government representative.
It is clear that Qatar and Saudi Arabia have agreed on several key points of negotiations after the long-term talks between the US and Afghan Taliban, and the parties have made each other assurances in a number of cases.
